Goobers Team Report - Updated February 22nd, 2012

The Goobers Have Hit A Rough Patch As Of Late Dropping Three Of There Last 5 Games. The Goobers Gave Up A Total Of 20 Goals In The Three Loses Scoring Only 10 Times. This Isnt The Route The Goobers Want To Take Going Into The Playoffs. With Two Games Remaining Its Up To The Team To Regroup And Gain Some Much Needed Confidence And Chemistry Amongst Themselves. This Sunday's Contest Against The 2nd Place 69ers Will Be The Biggest Game Of The Season And Probably Turn Out To Be The Deciding Factor On Who Finishes 1st Or 2nd.

A Decrease In Player Attendance As Of Late Seems To Be Causing A Problem, With Mike Creighton Already Set To Miss The Remainder Of The Season And Bryan Ploen Possibly Out Until Then As Well, Its Up To The Rest Of The Team To Step Up And Fill The Void.

Who's In Beast Mode
#7 - Bryan Ploen - Still Considered To Be On Beast Mode Even Though He Has Been A No-Show The Past 3 Weeks. Ploen Still Currently Has A Personal Best 10 Game Point Streak Going, But Still Sits 1 Point Back Of Dale For The Team Record. Lets Hope He Can Come Back Ready For The Playoffs And Continue His Great Season.

#11 - Kevin Robbie - Currently On A 7 Game Point Streak Totalling 17 Points. Kevin Has Boosted Himself To The Top Of The Leader Board, And With 2 Games Remaining And A +2 Advantage Over 2nd Place He Looks Primed To Win His 1st Art Ross Of His Goober Career. Kevin Also Currently Sits 1 Back In Both Goals And Assists On The Season.

Who's Hot
#61 - Dale Wiseman - Currently On A 6 Game Point Streak Which Included Goals In His First Three Games And Assists In His Last Three Games, Dale Has Been Distributing The Puck All Around The Ice But Still Leads The Team In Goals With 18. Dale Is Also The Best Bet To Be The First 20 Goal Goober.

#42 - Mara Li - Mara Currently Has 11 Points In His Last 6 Games, Placing Him In 3rd On The Team In Points, And 1st On The Team In Assists. Mara Currently Has The 2nd Best Points Per Game With A 1.7 Mara Is Also One Of 5 Others Tied With 3 Game Winning Goals On The Season.

#5 - Andrew Zdanowski - This Guy Has Been One Of The Goobers Hottest Players As Of Late. With 15 Points In His Last 8 Games There Isnt Much This Guy Is Doing Wrong Out There. Andrew Has Also Really Bounced Back From His 14 Point Season A Year Ago. His 22 Points On The Season Are A Personal Best and With Two Games To Go He Will Likely Add To That Total. Unfortunately He Broke His 7 Game Point Streak Last Game.

Who's Cold
#27 - Franny Pisani - With Only 1 Assist In His Last 6 Games Franny Has Dumbed Down The Hype After Posting 5 Points In His Previous 4 Games Before This Slump. Franny Has However Stayed Out Of The Box Lately With Only 2 Minutes In His Last 12 Games.

#2 - Matt Spina - After Racking Up 6 Points During A 4 Game Span From Nov 13 - Dec 4. Spina Has Only Picked Up 2 Assists In His Last 7 Games. But Its Not All Bad, Matty Has Already Broken His Previous Season High In Points When He Recorded 9 In 2011. So Anything From Here On Is Just Bonus, Lets Hope He Can Continue This Pace Going Into Next Season.

But The 3rd Bowl Of Porridge Was Juuuussssst Right
#10 - Chris Parker - Parker Has Been A Great Add The Team This Year. He Brings Speed And A Scoring Touch To The Goobers Lineup And Has Been Shown To Create Chemistry With Almost Anyone On The Ice. Currently With 14 Points In His Last 9 Games And 22 On The Season. Parker Has Already Solidified Himself As A Great Up And Comer Who Should Be Near The Top Of The Leaderboard In No Time.
