Good Luck to Clark
Please send a quick good luck to Clark Vredevoogd as he heads out to Santa Barbara, CA for round 2 of the Under 19 National Team tryouts. He has been working hard for this opportunity and will represent Grandville well. Good luck Clark.

Hosting of Big Ten Rugby Games

GHS has been selected to host the Davenport Division 2 versus University of Michigan rugby game and also the nationally ranked Davenport University Division 1 game versus Purdue. Kick-off for the games on Saturday are now set at Noon for the DU versus U of M and then at 2 pm for the DU versus Purdue game. Admission is free and parking may get tricky with all the fans. If you have any questions, email Coach Lusk. See you there!!!

STATE CHAMPS
GRANDVILLE RUGBY IS STATE CHAMPS (TWICE). First time in league history did two teams from the same program make the state finals. A side beat CC 19-5 in the D-1 finals and the B side beat Berkley 32-8 in the D-3 finals. What a season. The boys really pulled together and put a run on at the playoffs. It was fun to coach all involved. Each player made a sacrifice at some point this season for the team and it was worth it.

Playoffs are this weekend in Detroit. They will be held at the Detroit Armory. The directions are on this website under Venues. Please choose Detroit and the directions and address is provided. Bus will be leaving the high school at 5 AM for playoffs this Saturday morning.
A side plays at Noon. Opponent is West Ottawa
B side plays at 10 am. Opponent is Grosse Pointe
C side plays at 9 am. Opponent is Troy
