Thanks for stopping by The Groove website. The Groove is a Select Fastpitch travel team with talented athletes from Austin and surrounding areas. The Groove coaches pride themselves on the fact that they are able to teach the young athletes on the team the correct fundamentals not only physically but mentally as well.

Following a very successful Ronald McDonald 16u Showcase, where the girls played hard regardless of injuries, The Groove took it all at the very competitive Monster Mash 18u held at Temple College. Despite being thrown into the losers' bracket early on, they came back to crush the undefeated Stingers out of Waco, 13-4. The girls showed they are true contenders at the 18u level, despite their young age. Look for them at their next tournament, Battle of the Best in Taylor, TX, November 12-13, 2011. Their final tournament of the Fall Season will be November 19-20th in San Antonio, TX. GO GROOOOVE!!!!

The Groove family would like to welcome Marisa Harner and her parents into our inner circle. Marisa hails out of California, but made it to Texas as fast as she could! Welcome Marisa, now get that glove on!
