Western States Duals
Our wrestling team will be competing at the Idaho Western States Duals on June 15 - 16, in Pocatello, ID.
Held in the Holt Arena, this tournament has grown to become the wests largest dual tournament. We will be facing All Star teams from CA, UT, WA, MT, CO, OR and Idaho.
We will be wrestling Greco Roman on Friday, and Freestyle on Saturday, and will face 5 or 6 teams each day.
We will depart Green Valley HS at aprox. 6am on Thursday the 14th, returning on Sunday evening the 17th.
Regsitration information will be given out soon, cost will be aprox $200 per wrestler, which includes transportation, lodging, entry fees, and some meals.
2012 - 13 Schedule
Plan your vacactions, pack your bags, and get ready, because the 2012 - 12 schedule is out, and you will not want to miss a tournament!
There have been some changes for next season, Rollie Lane in Nampa, ID, and La Costa Canyon in San Clemente, CA are out.
But they have been replaced by the Zinkin Classic ( one of California's toughest tournaments ) and The Clash, in Rochester, MN. Thats right, MInnesota. The Clash is the toughest Dual Format tournament in the country, and we will be facing the Nation's best, with teams like Apple Valley, MN, Brandon, FL, St Edwards, OH, St Paris Graham, OH, and Clovis, CA.
We are now competing at 3 different Flo Majors, Reno TOC, The Clash, and Temecula Valley!
This is the toughest schedule a Nevada Team has ever had, but it is one that will gain a lot of National Exposure for our wrestlers.

Green Valley Wrestlers win the Sunrise Regional Championships in a dominating way, out scoring the 2nd place team 313 1/2 to 187 1/2.
