2012 GYSA Registration is NOW OPEN!!!
We are looking for teams in the following divisions:
8U
10U
12U
14U
HS (16/18U combined)
In 2012 GYSA will continue to allow "independant" travel teams to participate.
In addition for 2012 the GYSA is even going to offer travel teams in neighboring counties the opporitunity to come and play some games with us in the GYSA league.
To register your team, please see info below.
Our 2012 registration meeting & elections will be at 7pm on January 10, 2012 at Bunten Rd Park in Duluth, Ga.
Please meet in the lobby of the activity building at 7pm.
Here is how you can register your team for GYSA:
*REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEB. 4, 2012
1. Email GYSA - Send us your team's name, coach's name, cell, & email address, your age division, & your home park to christyhays14@aol.com
2. Pay registration fee. (Registration fee per team is listed below)
*Make checks payable to GYSA*
$45 per team for teams inside County - due on or before Jan. 10, 2012. Please pay at registration meeting. (* Our fee for late registration is $50 per team & must be in no later than February 4, 2012)
3. Schedule games at scheduling meeting on Feb. 4, 2012
4. Pay for & participate in Season Opener Feb. 18, 2012. (More info & Location TBD)
Also as stated above, In 2012 the GYSA is offering travel teams in neighboring counties the opporitunity to come and play some games with us in the GYSA league. Many coaches are very open to the idea, and we always want to attempt anything to better the GYSA league! Also coaches like to keep the competition exciting & fresh!
*FYI* ~ Scheduling or playing any games outside Gwinnett County will in no way be a requirement for GYSA "Gwinnett Co." teams! Any league registered "non-Gwinnett Co." team must agree 100% to play league games at GYSA member parks, unless other arrangements is made with another coach.
If you coach a fastpitch travel softball team in one of the following counties...Walton, North Fulton, Hall, Forsyth, or Dekalb, and you'd be interested in coming to play some GYSA fastpitch softball games with Gwinnett travel teams ~
