·  All games will be played at the time, date and location specified on the league schedule. Game times and dates are subject to change.

·  The game shall consist of two 20 minutes halves, with the last 2 minutes of second half stopped time. If one team leads by more than 12 points, the clock will not stop.

·  The half time break shall be three (3) minutes.

·  Teams will be allowed 3 timeouts per game, only 2 of which can be carried over to the second half. Each team will be given 1 additional timeout before the first overtime.

·  20 -2 rule: If any one team leads by 20 or more points with 2 minutes remaining in the second half, the game will be ceased.

·  Official starting time is forfeit time. Teams must have 4 roster players to start a game. Teams cannot start a game with less than 4 players, but can finish with less. The opposing team will still have the ability to play with 5 players, and the game will be considered an official game.

a) If a team has less than 4 players at the start of their game the clock is started while the players wait for a 4th player.  2 points are awarded to the team that has their players every minute.  At the 15 minute mark, if a 4th player has not arrived the game is declared a forfeit.

b) If a 4th player arrives during this time the officials will have the players enter the court to start the game. The game will start with an inbound pass and possession of the team that had their players on time.

·  Following a forfeit game, the teams may play a practice game. Officials and scorekeepers will not work the practice game.

·  Teams forfeiting more than 1 game will be removed from the league and cannot register for Adult Basketball league for 2 additional seasons.

·  A second technical foul will call for an ejection from the contest and premises, 1 game suspension, and $10 fee.

·  2 technical fouls on a player will result in the ejection of that player from the game.

·  Any player ejected from a game (for any reason other than personal fouls) is automatically suspended from the team's next scheduled game.

·  In an attempt to have games completed, the officials will implement the following procedures when dealing with “indifferent” situations:

When dealing with an irate player, the Manager will be approached to control the player. If the Manager fails to handle the situation or the player ignores the Manager and continues the behavior, the player will be ejected from the game and be requested to leave the premises. The referee will make every attempt to continue game play.

·  If the player refuses to leave within a reasonable amount of time, the game will be declared a forfeit (please refer to forfeit rules).

·  Disrespectfully addressing, baiting, or taunting an opponent will result in a technical foul.

·  All judgments on rules and player eligibility will be made by the League Director and/or League Supervisor and are final.

·  Smoking, alcohol, food and beverages will not be permitted. Players violating this rule will be suspended for two (2) games for 1st offense, and will be dismissed without refund for 2nd offense.

·  Bench.  Only registered players of the team and one team coach may sit on the bench.  To be a team coach you must declare yourself the teams coach to a league official prior to the first game.

·  Team Managers and/or coaches are responsible for informing their players of all rules and seeing that they conform to them.
