The Hardin Park Faculty and Staff would like to say THANK YOU to all of the participants in the Rock Roll and Stroll 5K and Fun Run this weekend. We hope each of you had a great time.
We would also like to thank all of our sponsors for the event. A big THANK YOU goes out to Joni Horine for all of her hard work and time in making this event so successful.

ROCK, ROLL & STROLL
5K Race and Kids' Fun Run
Saturday, May 15th
8:45 am Fun Run
9:15 am 5K
Greenway Trail
Boone, NC

5K Course:
Beginning behind the New Complex Softball Fields on the Greenway Trail, runners will run to the end of the trail and back completing an accurate 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles.
Entry Fees:
The entry fee is $10 per person and includes a Rock, Roll & Stroll backpack. However, we can only guarantee a backpack for those who preregister. Our Family Rate of $25 will cover 3 or more family members, but this rate has a 3 backpack maximum. The entry fee for the Kids' Fun Run is $5. Kids' Fun Run participants will receive a goody bag.
Proceeds:
The proceeds from this race will be used by Hardin Park Elementary School to fund its fitness programs.

Awards:
There will be a cash award for the overall best finishers (M/F). Prizes will be given to the best finisher in these categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Overall winners will be displaced from age group winners. Winners must be present at the awards ceremony; prizes will not be mailed.
Registration/Packet Pick Up:
Registration and packet pick up will be open at 8am on race day. Registration will close at 8:45. Pre-registration is appreciated and can be completed on this site, or by mailing in the registration form with payment.
Other:
~5K will begin at 9:15 am
~The Kids' Fun Run at 8:45 am
~Post-race refreshments!
~On-site child care so parents can run 5K
~Live Music
~Leashed animals, skates, scooters will not be allowed on the course. Strollers are allowed, however.
~Backpacks are only guaranteed if you register by May 1st!
