    Election of Officers and Directors
The annual general meeting (AGM) was held on January 18th, 2010 at the Hamburg Senior Center.

By a show of hands of the voting membership present, the following candidates were elected for the Board of Directors positions listed below:

    President - Jim Clark
    Secretary - Jim Lentini
    Registrar - Pam DeSha
    Trustee - Don Lees

Description of each of the above Board of Directors duties may be found in ARTICLE VII – THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the HCSC By-laws.

    Term of Office

All elected officers serve a two-year term. The terms of the officers are staggered so one-half of the board stands for election each year. The election year cycle overrides the term of office. If an officer for any reason serves less than two years, he/she must still stand for election according to the schedule (see Article VII, section 8 & 9).

A term runs from February 1 through January 30 of the second year following. A newly elected member of the Board of Directors, elected in January at the annual membership meeting, shall begin the term of office on the following February 1. Between elections in January and the beginning of the term on February 1, the member(s) of the Board of Directors voted out of office shall complete their terms, and shall serve as mentors to the newly elected person(s) who will replace them.

    Eligibility

Please see By-laws ARTICLE IX - ELECTIONS
    Section 1.

    Board Meetings

You're invited to the HCSC monthly board meeting which is held on the third Monday of each month and is open to all HCSC members/membership. The meeting runs about an hour long and begins at 7:30 PM. We meet at the Hamburg Community/Senior Center on Merrill Road (across the street from the soccer fields). You will gain a better understanding on what it really takes to run a soccer program.

Do you have a suggestion? If so, you're in luck because part of the meeting agenda is "public call". Stand up, share your thoughts and be heard. We certainly would like to hear from you. Many great ideas come from the people in our program. Please plan to attend a board meeting in the very near future. Come show your support and meet the board members.

Your dedication to Hamburg Community Soccer Club is greatly appreciated.

    Together, yes UNITED we stand.

    GO HAMBURG!!
