HCYP Softball offers three levels of softball programs for girls between the ages of 6 and 18.

Our recreational softball program is the largest in central Maryland. It offers a strong softball experience in an environment that lets everyone from beginners to experienced softball players enjoy the game. Games are usually played at Kiwanis Wallas Park. During the regular season, April to May or early June, all leagues -- 8U 10U, 12U, and combined 14U/17U -- play each Saturday. The older leagues other than 8U also play a game during the week. Each team also has a practice each week. Playoffs in the older leagues are two weeks in June. During the pre-season, in March, the older teams practice twice a week and 8U teams practice once a week.

Our travel program is made up of Patriots and Liberty. The Patriots play A, B, or C level tournaments in the fall, spring and summer and compete for berths in national tournaments. Our Liberty program plays C level tournaments in the summer. For more information about these programs, contact the respective commissioners noted in the Contacts section of our official website.
