All of us at Hattiesburg Dixie Boys are devastated by the loss of our friend and HDBB Coach Jay Tarvin. Jay was a great guy, a loving husband, and father. He gave his time and energy to the youth of Hattiesburg year round coaching. We are praying for and ask everyone to pray for Jay and Jay's family.

Congratulations to 2012-2013 HDBB and 2017 Hattiesburg High Alumni JaMarcus Lang on being drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 38th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft.

Due to a 2018 passed Federal Law, The Safe Sport Act, if you have not been through a Hattiesburg Dixie Boys Baseball run national background check (criminal and sex offender) and the results on file with the league, you are not allowed on the playing field as a coach during practice or games.

There is no mandatory play rule in Hattiesburg Dixie Boys.  Playing time is at the discretion of the coaches. While we all try to get everyone in and an at bat each game, sometimes it's not possible.

 Bat Rule

Effective January 1, 2018, 2 5/8” bats used in Dixie Boys Baseball play
must meet new performance standards established by USA Baseball and have the USA Baseball Logo.

BBCOR bats will continue to be allowed in Dixie Boys!

There is a city ordinance that does not allow dogs in our park. Please do not bring your pet to the ball park. We will ask you to take Rover out of the park.

Please return all foul balls to the concession stand. We are having far to many not being returned. Keeping game balls will cost everyone in the league more money in the long run. Thank you for your help.

Park along the side fence at your own risk. The league, the club, and the City of Hattiesburg do not pay to replace broken windows.
