GREAT JOB girls! All Stars must tryout each year at summer camp regardless of making the team in past. The tryout is difficult, candidates must receive 18 of 21 points to make the team. Once making the team All Stars have opportunites throughout the year to perform at many high profile local, state-wide and even national events. The Mid American All Star team has been highly recognized for many decades and it is a big accomplishment for these 11 Howell pom team members to have made the All Star team!
Congratulations to senior Chelsea Julian on receiving the "Sparkle and Shine Award" this year at summer camp!!!! This is the only "individual" award given out by Mid American all year. One senior is chosen at each camp based on pompon performance, dedication and/or other qualities. What an honor that one of our very own Howell Pommers has received this award! Way to go Chelsea!
