2009 BOYS BARKER BASKETBALL SIGN-UPS
On-line registration for the John Barker Basketball Town League – Youth Division – Grades 2 to 8 is now open.
The John Barker Basketball Town League Youth Division is open to all boys in Hingham in Grades 2 through 8. It involves a game on Saturday and typically one practice per week. The season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March, excluding Holidays and school vacations. There are not any “cuts” and there are mandatory equal playing time rules. The cost is $130 for a participant with a maximum cost of $200 per family. The cost covers shirts, gym time, custodial costs, insurance, referees, team equipment and awards.
Grades 2 through 6 have pre-season evaluations that are used to create balanced teams. Evaluations for Grades 7 and 8 are based on last year’s performance in the league. The pre-season evaluations will take place on 11/7 at East School. The times for each grade are as follows:

In-Person League Registration will also be available prior to the evaluations but on-line registration is the preferred sign-up method. The deadline for registration is 11/27.
