Nodak played well in his 200 and 201 Hits Happen games 6 hits, 5 runs & 7 RBI
Josh turns another triple play to send us home and close out the last game.
Corey goes 8 for 10 to lead the team in hitting on the night.
Wally another two HR night and 8 more RBI taken the single season record for most of the offensive catagories.

Wally on a hitting tear! 9-10 2 HR 5 2B 5 RBI.
Welch hits an in the parker and then turna a triple play.
Matt reaches HH milestones 400 RBI with a Grand Slam.
Billy 7-10 with triple, in the park HR, and a fine defensive play to secure the first game.

Tarman with the walk off game winning hit.
Really everyone that showed up played well along with our two subs.
Matt reaches HH milestones 300 career runs and 500 hits and is 3 RBI from 400.

Nodak reached HH milestone 300 singles.
Welchie finall shows up hit .750 and made some nice plays in the dirt.
Iverson hits 1.000 on the night and hits the game tieing HR in the bottom of the 7th.

Opie gets his 300th HH career run scored
Wally in the last games before getting hitched goes 5-5 with 5 RBI and one SAC!
Tarman starts off solid 5-6 with a BB and 3 RBI
As a team we scored our 3000 run in the history of HH (152 more then we have given up )

Andy continues to be hot going 6-7 and 13-14 in last 14 AB's
Bill played in his 200th career Hits Happen game!
The whole Squad for 3rd place finish in the highest league on Monday nights.

Corey 6-8 3 runs 2 dbls and 7 RBI
Cory 4-5 with 2 walks and keeping us in beer 3 K's in three weeks!

Dan goes perfect on the night at the plate 6 for 6
Colin was 3-3 with 2 dbls in game one.
Bill is with in one run of 300 HH runs scored.

Wally has another big night with the stick 6-7 with 1 HR and 7 RBI
Freddie for getting that ever elusive walk. 4 career HH walks now or 1 every 44.75 at bats or roughly 1 every 40 games.
Dan gets his 300th career HH hit.

Wally has another perfect night 7-7 1 dbl, 1 hr, 1 bb 8 rbi
The whole team for not folding and at least trying to make a game against Roberg.
Matt for eclipsing 300 singles in his HH career.

Nodak hits perfect for the night 9-9  1BB 6 runs 6 RBI also found us 10 in last minutes.
Colin goes 7-9 with 8 RBI but most importantly 2 K's so you know what that means.
Wally went 7-7 but shocker here all singles no bombs also 2BB & 3 RBI
Dan-O pitched well despite his hot wax injury getting a few K's and limiting the BB.

Opie surpassed 400 career HH hits
NoDak surpassed 200 career HH RBI's
Tarman, Wally and Trues all surpassed 100 career HH runs
Wally went 7-7 but shocker here all singles no bombs also 2BB & 3 RBI
Trues 5-6 3 singles, 1 double & a very key grand slam to get us going also 5 RBI
Andy 7-8 4 singles, 2 doubles, and 1 triple along with 3 RBI's in his last game before getting married this weekend!

Corey surpassed 400 career HH hits (Opie need six but got five, next game)
Wally continues the HR tear adding another for 2 for 8 total.
Denny finally got his first K for HH thus he needs to bring some cold beverages to our next game. It only took 217 at bats, now every team memeber has at least one K.

Billy surpassed 400 career HH hits (a couple others will next game)
Freddy continued the hot streak and is now holding the best avg. on the squad! Went 7-8 and 4-4 in game # 2
Wally continues the HR tear adding another for 6 total. Also went 6-8 going 4-4 in game two.
Corey goes 5-5 with a triple and 5 runs scored in game two continueing to hit the ball where they ain't.
Dan was 6-8 on the night and used the glove a couple of times on the mound to get a few easy outs.

Corey last week the glove this week the stick 5-6 1BB 3 RBI
Billy 6-8 and showing his versitility came in a pitched winning his first start of the year. Rocky start but then found the groove.
Cory aka No Dak reached a HH career milestone with his 200 career run scored
Dan and Freddy both continued swinging well both going 5-7 on the night.

Colin - 7 for 7 with 3 doubles 1 triple and a walk!
Dan-o - reached two Milestones 200 HH career Rbi's and 20 hh Career K's
Corey for making some outstanding catches that really got the opposition to hang their heads.

Wally - 4 bombs in two games. Only hit 14 in about 45 for us last year. Big things for 2011!
Dan-o - 7 hits in 8 at bats and pitched well getting 2 wins.
Denny and Freddy both made some excellent plays on defense that secured the victory in game one.

April 11, 2011

The 2011 summer league schedule is now up and posted!

Looks to be some new teams along with some familiar names as well.

We are now in the Competative Upper league on Monday nights because

we won the middle last year with a 21-3 record. I can't see us going 21-3

but surly we will be very competative in all our games and most of all do

what we do best and have fun.

Jet-Black was the upper champs last year and they are returning to defend their title.

We have played them a few times over the years in tournaments and fall leagues have

yet to beat them but have played some close games, looking to try and improve our record against.

River Valley was in our league last season we went 3-0 against them and two of those

games were really close and hard fought but rumour has it they have added a few really

strong players and are looking to do something they couldn't last year.

Moose Knucklers we have faced the last few years in Fall Ball and have had some very good

close games with them and i'm sure this will continue.

I do not know anything about the other four teams but we will know soon enough really am

excited for another fun year of Hits Happen Softball. See you at the fields!!!
