WINNERS OF THE ANN DUNNING MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT 2009
HOLLOWAY HIT THE HEADLINES!
Welcome to the official website of Holloway Gaels Ladies' Gaelic Football Club, London.
Holloway Gaels Ladies' GFC is the most centrally located Gaelic football club in London, currently based at Finsbury Park. Finsbury Park station is on the Victoria and Piccadilly tube lines, and has an overland train station and bus depot. It is 5 minutes from Kings Cross station and 10 minutes from Oxford Circus.
We are a well organised and professionally managed club in our 17th year. The 2009 seasons sees the Gaels competing at senior level for the first time following back-to-back Junior championship titles. The majority of our players are Irish, but the club boasts a membership from a wide range of nationalities and sporting backgrounds and everyone is made to feel welcome.
We're a progressive and sociable club aiming to promote both gaelic football and women’s sport in London. We'd love to hear from anyone interested in playing ladies' gaelic football. No experience necessary, just a good attitude and an interest in sport. We train in Finsbury Park at 6.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and at 11am on Saturday mornings if we don't have a match.
