Holy Angels Cross Country
2009 XC Results
Holy Angels has both a Boys and a Girls Cross Country team this year. A Cross Country meet is a race of 1 to 1.25 miles. Each X-Country meet consists of a seperate boys and girls race. The top five fastest times on each team are scored and added up for a team score (1st, 2nd & 3rd = 6 pts.). Runners must compete in at least 5 of the scheduled meets throughout the season in order to run in the final CMSAA championship meet. Meets are held at various parks throughout Suffolk County. *Please check the 'Game Results" for XC meet results
Holy Angels Girls Volleyball
In volleyball, the net is 7 feet high. There are 6 players on the court at a time; rotating positions after each serve. Teams play for 25 points to win the game (must win by 2). Teams need to win 2 out of 3 games to take the match. The Volleyball season consists of 10 matches.
Holy Angels fielded our first ever Girl’s Volleyball team in the Spring of 2010. Our inaugural season went well as all the players and team greatly improved throughout the season.

Holy Angels Threepete as CMSAA Baseball Champions!!!
The Holy Angels Boy's Baseball team finished the 2010 season undefeated at 10-0 to claim the CMSAA Championship! It's our third in a row!!! The boys outscored our opponents 97 to 14! We had 3 no hitters and 4 shutouts!
Great job boys. It was a real team effort. Everyone contributed and improved. We are all very proud of you all.

Holy Angels Basketball
Basketball games consist of four 8-minute quarters, with one 3-minute OT period (if necessary). Teams will play a 10 game season (5v5).

In 2009-10, the Boys-Varsity & Girls teams' both finished in 3rd place at 7-3. * Mary-Kate Mowat set two school girls scoring records with 127 points this season and 210 all time!
The Boys-JV, 6th grade team finished tied for 2nd place at 8-2. * Colin Rosa also set a school scoring record with 168 points this season!
Holy Angels Cheerleading
The Holy Angels Girls Cheerleaders will be cheering during halftime and breaks at all boys home basketball games. Practices will be after school. Come on down, show some school spirit and help support the teams. * Holy Angels is going to field a Cheerleading Squad again this year. Thank you Mrs. Sorenson!
Holy Angels Soccer
CMSAA Soccer matches consist of two 30 minute halves, played 11v11 on a full sized field with a # 5 ball.
Holy Angels soccer play their home games at the PMYSL soccer complex on Sipp Avenue in Medford.
* Holy Angels Athletes can participate in both Soccer and Cross Country running in the fall.

Congratulations to all the Holy Angels students, teachers and parents! Our scores for the 2009 NY State Assessments are outstanding! Much higher than any public school!
The percentage of students meeting and exceeding the NYS standards are as follows:
Grade 4: ELA = 90% , Math = 100% Grade 5: Social Studies = 100% Grade 8: ELA = 100% , Math = 93% , Social Studies = 100%
