Welcome To The Home Of
Homerun Softball Clinics
|
The mission of homerun softball is to provide an energetic, knowledgeable learning atmosphere, where athletes and coaches can continue their growth in the game of fast pitch softball. This is accomplished by teaching and providing drills that simplify the game. As a collegiate coach, I have found that simplifying the skills of the game allows my athletes to gain a greater knowledge of the sport. This knowledge allows the athlete to make adjustments during competition, thus increasing their opportunities for success. It is our mission to help softball athletes understand the keys to success are: hard work and dedication. There are no short cuts to success
Homerun softball Clinics will come to you and build a clinic for your team, league or community needs. Instructors are top coaches from the college and ASA levels, along with current and former college players. If it is a players clinic, coaches clinic or summer camp homerun softball will provide you with the best demonstrations and instruction on how to help your players improve their softball skills

GM Sports, a nationally and internationally recognized softball training business located in Newport Beach, California, and Homerun Softball, located in Syracuse, New York, have teamed together to offer unique training opportunities for all levels of fastpitch softball competition.
This training is recognized as the most effective training for serious athletes to improve their skills around the USA and the world. The philososphy is aggressive for training and competition and the methods used are “down to earth” simple. Both are constantly being evaluated to stay in the vanguard of training fastpitch softball today. These simple and easily learned techniques are based in word association, visual demonstration and memorization methods effective for young to adult players. The drills are consistent and fundamental but productively revised for athletes of all ages. This training originated from coach Mauro’s 20 plus years of coaching, teaching, study and testing these methods and skills. The acclaim of his program’s success is seen in the teams and individuals at all levels using his techniques and strategies. From this training are current national NCAA and ASA Junior Olympic champions, collegiate All-Americans, USA Olympians, International athletes and professional fastpitch players.
Coach Mauro’s special relationship with manufacturers creates opportunities to design specialized training devices and tools to better the novice to elite player. Every day these tools are incorporated into his training drills and skills. These products are constantly updated and analyzed for purpose and simplicity. Along with weaving mental techniques into the training, these tools and hard pushing methods create an opportunity for the athlete to learn and become the best that they can be.
The camps and clinics offered by GM Sports and Homerun Softball are available to teams, organizations and open events. They involve training either by the staff of GM Sports and Homerun Softball and/or other instructors, clinicians and coaches available for the size and skills of the event. Another unique opportunity is the one to four days college exposure camp involving collegiate coaches from the region and around the country working the camp teaching and interacting with the players. This offers a significantly better personalized environment then the typical recruitment camp where the coaches watch from the sidelines and hopefully see the player at her best.
The extensive travel and speaking schedule of Coach Mauro should offer you the confidence and experience that your player or team will achieve new levels of success in fastpitch softball and life.
