HOOSIER ELITE WINS THE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE MARTINSVILLE ARTESIAN FOLKSTYLE CLASSIC

Hoosier Elite dominates the Artesian Classic for the third year in a row! The Academy had 6 champions, 2 runner-ups, 4 thirds, 2 fourths, and 1 fifth place finisher. Leading the Academy were Champions Cael Miracle, Lukasz Walendzak, Alex Mosconi, Anthony Mosconi, Bryce Carson, and Elijah Dunn. Great job guys! Geno Mosconi, and Keaton Deckard were runner ups. Jake Ruhberg, Owen Sego, Tucker Kirkoff, and Derek Blubaugh finished third. Rounding out the team were Hope Miracle, and Trystin Kirkoff in fourth and Ethan Sego in fifth. All fifteen Hoosier Elite wrestlers placed!
ALEX MOSCONI FINISHES 2ND AT DIXIE NATIONALS!
Congratulations to Alex Mosconi for his runner up finish at Dixie nationals in Georgia last weekend. Alex went 4-1 @75lbs in the duals. Then pinned 4 in a row in the individual tournament to make the finals. He then lost a hard fought battle in the finals to finish as runner up. Great Job Alex!
Nicholas Castellucio also participated in the duals and the individual tournament placing 6th. Good job Nick!
HOOSIER ELITE TAKES 3RD OF 70 AT TOLEDO HAMMER TOURNAMENT
Meier 2nd, H. Miracle 3rd, O. Sego 3rd, G. Mosconi 4th, Hunt 2nd, Anthony Mosconi 2nd, Blughbaugh 4th, Stine 2nd. 10 of 12 wrestlers placed...2 1st, 4 2nd, 2 3rd, and 2 4th....A special congratulations to Lukasz Walendzak and Elijah Dunn for taking home individual titles. Walendzak was nominated for the Most Outstanding Wrestler award because of his total domination of his weight class. He pinned everyone including a sub 30 second pin in the finals. Hoosier Elite finished 3rd out of 70 teams.
KAYLA MIRACLE WINS BODY BAR NATIONALS & QUALIFIES FOR CADET WORLD TEAM
Winning the title at 49 kg/108 lbs. was Kayla Miracle (Culver, Ind./Culver Academy), who pinned Sheykaliz Cintron of Puerto Rico in both finals matches. Miracle won the first match with a second period fall at 35 seconds, then won the second match with a pin in 1:26. Miracle was a USA Wrestling Folkstyle National champion in both the Cadet and Junior divisions earlier this year.

KAYLA MIRACLE WINS PLYMOUTH SECTIONALS
HERALD TIMES - Culver Academy freshman Kayla Miracle won the 103-pound weight class at the Plymouth Sectional Saturday.
The former Bloomington resident made history earlier in the year by becoming the first female wrestler to be ranked. She is currently ranked 13th. She is still unbeaten at 36-0 with 20 pins.
TULSA NATIONALS RESULTS
Congratulations to our Tulsa Nationals All-Americans. Placing 5th were Cael Miracle and, and Zachary Bellini. They both wrestled a very good tournament against extremely tough competition. A special congratulations goes to Alex Mosconi for knocking off the #1 ranked wrestler in the country in the quarterfinals and finishing as runner up. Great tournament Alex. We are so proud of you!
Derek Blubaugh finished 3rd in the Tulsa Novice Nationals prooving that he is ready for the big time. Nice job Derek! You should be very proud of your accomplishment.
KAYLA MIRACLE IN SPORTS ILLUSTRATED'S FACES IN THE CROWD
Kayla, a freshman at Culver Academies who wrestles in the 103-pound weight class, is the school's first female wrestler and the states first female to go 22-0 in the first half of the season. Through Sunday, Kayla has had 13 pins and is one of only two undefeated members of her team. She is currently ranked 13th in the state, the only female to ever make the state list.

Out of ten allowed scorers for the team, Hoosier Elite had 5 champions, 4 runner-ups, and 1 third place finish. Champions include Cael Miracle, Alex Mosconi, Anthony Mosconi, Lukasz Walendzak, and Chayton Durham. Runner-up finishes were Derek Blubaugh, Elijah Dunn, Keaton Deckard, and Devon Hupp. Rounding out the scorers for Hoosier Elite was Hope Miracle finishing third. Great job gang!
HOOSIER ELITE PLACES 2ND AT BIDDY BEAST OF THE EAST IN TOLEDO, OH
Congrats to Cael Miracle and Lukasz Walendzak for taking home Championships. Second place went to Cade Meier, Noah Hunt, and Jake Ruberg. Finishing third was Griffin Schermer and Nicholas Castellucio. Fourth place finishers were Evan Bruce and Hunter Dalton.

Congratulations to Cael Miracle and Geno Mosconi for winning National Championships at USA Pre-Season Nationals in Iowa. All Americans for Hoosier Elite also included runner-up Nicholas Castellucio, 3rd Alex Mosconi, and 5th Hope Miracle. Nice work guys!....and girl :)
