Spartans Win 2-0 Over Lake Grove

The Spartans took on the Lake Grove Barricudas in a wind Storm at Rocky Road. The Spartans elected to shot into the wind, which caused he coaches to hold their heads, but the they knew what they were doing. At the end of the 1st half, the Spartans and Barricudas were tied 0-0. With the wind at their backs the Spartans' offense kicked in with 8 shots on goal (one from the keeper) and 2 scores.
The Spartans first goal came on 2 v 1 situation. NPC-16 put a thru ball on the foot of EH-2 who beat the keeper to the near side post. several minutes later, NPC-16 recived a square frpm KF-7 and drilled the upper 90 for the games 2nd and final goal.

The Spartans have advanced to the Final Four of the Waldbaums Cup with a decisive win over West Islip.
The Spartnas will meet the Great Neck Galaxy on May 16th to decides who goes to the Finals!

Spartans Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays at Forest Brook
The Spartans will be training each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the Blue Crew at Forest Brook. There will aslo be periodic practices with just the coaches too.
