The Hughesville Hustlers baseball team was formed in 2007 and includes a group of 11 and 12-year old boys from Southern Maryland who love the game of baseball. Most of these boys also participate in Little League baseball. While a certain skill level is required, paramount to their selection on this team is their desire, attitude and love of the game.
Our team provides the opportunity for players from your community to improve their baseball skills while also learning valuable life lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, perseverance and other valuable skills that they will draw upon for years to come.
As part of the 2009 season, the Hustlers are scheduled to play in 12 different weekend tournaments at the following local venues: the Ripken Baseball facility (Aberdeen, MD), the Virginia Sports Complex (Ashland, VA), the Lake Shore baseball facility (Pasadena, MD), the Sports at the Beach (Rehoboth, DE), Charles and St. Mary's counties and Maryland BPA baseball (Bowie, MD). These opportunities give our players and families great competition and great memories.
It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.
