Scrimmage in Albany v. South Troy Cudas
May 27, 2006 - 11:00 AM Sand Creek Middle School, Albany - Scrimmage
(Our trip up north was well worth it as we got a chance to face an impressive offensive team in the South Troy Cudas. Starter Shafer settled-in nicely and ended up with a solid outing in his 5 innings pitched. Forster also pitched fairly well as he once again proved his ability to stay focused and get outs. Rivera went 2-for-3. Kemble went 2-for-4. Bartholomew showed patience at the plate with 2 walks on the day and had an amazing "20-foot" slide into home plate. :) This 10 inning game will hopefully be the start of a Memorial Day weekend tradition. Thanks for bringing the grill guys. The 7th inning stretch hot dogs and hamburgers were good eats.)

    Opening Season Scrimmage v. Rangers
May 21, 2006 - 08:30 AM Creek Rd Baseball Fields, Hyde Park - Scrimmage
    (Game Time - 9:00am start)
(This 8 inning pre-season exhibition featured stellar performances from all of our pitchers. Forster pitched well in his 4 innings of work. S. Winslow was impressive in his ability to get out of several jams in his 3 innings pitched and Shafer threw opposing hitters off with his overpowering fastball and nasty curve. Excellent plate appearances, great plays in the field, and relentless hustle are recognized in a respectable loss to a good team.)
