Congrats to the 12u boys team on qualifing for the REAL AAU NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. This past weekend they participated in the 2011 SUPER REGIONAL in Deerfield,IL and finished in the top 4 to receive a automatic bid for nationals to be held in Hampton,Va in July. The team also placed second in the Midwest National qualifier to receive a automatic bid to play in their national tournament held in Louisville,Ky. The team achieved most of their goals they set out at the begining of the season. This team consits of

The Illinois Rebels basketball program is for student athletes that are ready to participate in a highly competitive basketball environment. Student athletes will experience the benefits of competitive basketball, in which discipline, leadership, confidence, competition and other physical and psychological strengths are challenged. Therefore, sportsmanship, teamwork and cooperation are important concepts to focus on to ensure both individual and team successes. The Illinois Rebels basketball program is designed to enable students to have a positive experience, while they learn and master basketball skills.

The Illinois Rebels will compete in various scrimmages, shootouts and tournaments in order to foster a highly competitive environment in which they will be able to apply the skills they have learned. The coaches will work diligently to find compatible and competitive teams in which we can compete against.
