The Jaguar Elite Baseball program is back for the 2012 season and excited about building player talent within the Spain Park community.  The inaugural 2010 and 2011 season brought many interactive clinics lead by the Spain Park coaching staff and has produced advance skills within our youth.  Each year this competitive program strives to improve and welcomes players to try out for a number of different age/grade level teams.   Our website provides details about how to register for tryouts, the exact dates, times and locations.    Coach Will Smith on Jaguar Elite Baseball

This year the program will hold tryouts and select players for Jaguar Elite Travel Teams in grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. In addition to having a true desire to play high school baseball, eligible players must be currently zoned to a school that feeds into Spain Park High School or express interest in becoming a part of the Spain Park community.  Team rosters will be limited to 11-13 players and structured to compete in 9 to 10 USSSA tournaments per year. Players and volunteer coaches will be trained on the routines, mechanics, and expectations required of a future Spain Park High School Baseball player.  Season fees are $1,300 per player making a team.  If your interested in participating in a program that provides a continuous player development path and is influenced by those who have a vested interest in the success of the high school team and its future players we encourage you to pre-register and attend tryouts.
