2012 Middle School Baseball Season Update

There will be 3 Leagues in 2012 - 6th Grade, Junior Varsity (6th & 7th graders may participate), and Varsity (6th, 7th, & 8th graders may participate).
Players are required to be full-time students in good standing both in academics and conduct with the school they are representing.
The 6th Grade League will play on fields measuring 50 foot pitching distance and 70 foot base paths.
The Junior Varsity League (6th & 7th graders) will play on fields measuring 54 foot pitching distance and 80 foot base paths.
The Varsity League (6th, 7th & 8th graders are eligible) will play on fields measuring 60 foot pitching distance and 90 foot base paths.

We will continue to play under KHSAA/National Federation Rules with modifications for Middle School to include time limits, restriction on bat and an EH provision for 6th grade only. Please refer to our Rules by Division and Rules Common to All Divisions for specific questions on modified rules

The league fees will be the same as they have been since our inagural season in 2006. The fee for a 12 game regular season, single elimination championship tournament and game balls is $1,200.

Team Registration Forms and a Per Team $100 Deposit is due by January 20,2012 - NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Team Rosters, Proof of Insurance, Coaches Code of Conduct and Remainder of League Fees is due at the Coaches Meeting Scheduled for February 24, 2012.
Opening Day is March 17, 2012.
We have requested the University of Louisville Jim Patterson Stadium for the Varsity Semi-Finals, Consolation and Championship Games on May 24, 2012.
