Coaches Applications and Background Checks
Each coach and assistant coach will be required to submit a coach’s application form in order to request a coaching position. All of the applications will be reviewed by the appropriate league director in order to select the most qualified individual that will be coaching our youth’s baseball experience.
* Note: The filling out of this application does not guarantee any individual a coaching position for the Kennesaw Baseball Association as a team head coach or assistant. Each applicant will be reviewed perhaps interviewed accordingly and then submitted to the KBA Board of Directors for final acceptance. If you are a returning coach, we would like for you to still provide us with the correct and up-to-date information so we may be able to update our contact information accordingly. Even as a returning coach, there are no guarantees for a Head Coach or assistant coach’s position.
Also, the Board of Directors, in a combined effort with the City of Kennesaw, are concerned with the awareness and protecting our youths from any harm while in the park and on the field of play. Established for the 2007 season and beyond, each and every parent, guardian, coach, assistant and umpire that will be coming in contact or assisting with our youth baseball program on the field of play, in the dugout’s or in the batting cage areas during practices and games times will be required to submit a Background Check Form. If you submitted a form this past Fall season, you do not have to fill out another form. Please check the expiration date on the card, if you do not have an expiration date on your card then you will need to fill out another form. This is a complete and private process. Fax the completed form to the number on the top of the background check form and all accepted will be issued a confirmation card by the City of Kennesaw. KBA will announce when and where to pick up your "CI cards". This will help us improve and provide a level of safety, concern and public awareness for all our youth and our entire membership.
