Due to the weather our games scheduled for Saturday Oct 17 vs North Hills are cancelled. We will not be making up these games.

New Fall Ball Season 2009
I am looking forward to a fun two months of BBA Fall Ball. If there is a position you would like to work on, this is the time to do it, just let me know. The majority of our games are double headers on Saturdays. NO SUNDAY GAMES. Please review the schedule and let me know when you will be unable to make any games.
Text Messaging
You can text message me if you cannot make a game or practice. I will also send out text reminders. Make sure I have your number and your parent's number if they want to be included. Please give me at least 2 days notice when you can't make a game.
School & Homework comes FIRST
Homework - if you are not getting your homework done because of practice then I don’t want you at practice.
School - If I am informed that you are not doing good in school due to lack of effort – I don’t want you at our games or practices!
Every Player Should Know...
Canceled practices – Always assume if I did not call you, then practice is on. If there is any doubt PLEASE call me.

Dress – Players do not need to wear their uniforms to practice. Please dress appropriately and be ready to practice base running and sliding. Please NO JEWELRY. Once the games begin, the umpires make sure all jewelry is removed including pierced jewelry. If you are thinking about piercing your ears, remember, you cannot wear even studs in a game.
Water - The concession stand may not be open during practices. Please make sure to bring water, Gatorade or other drink replenishments. I personally discourage carbonated products with sugar.
Practices and Positions - I encourage every girl to attend as many practices as possible. You willingness to work hard in practice and your attendance at practices and games will determine where you play in the field. You earn your positions at practice.
Pitchers – If you want to pitch, you have to learn how to be a very good pitcher and that takes extra practice. If you don’t come to practices, you can’t pitch! ALL PITCHERS MUST WEAR A PROTECTIVE FACE MASK.
Batting Practice – Most practices will include batting cage times. We may add more times throughout the season.
Equipment –Each team has an equipment bag full of bats and helmets. Most kids like to have their own.
