NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

The ‘Kitchener Minor Girls’ Softball Association is a non-profit sport organization that relies on volunteers to organize and operate the activities and programs of the Association.
It is important that we have a full Board of Directors for the 2010 season. The Directors consider and approve reports and recommendations, policies and procedures, equipment purchases, budgets, approve proposed Bylaw changes, and resolve issues that arise.
Please consider volunteering for the Executive or in another capacity. Previous experience is not required, training is available. The success of our Association depends on having families and individuals involved in the operation of the programs.
Eligible voters: The Directors, the Officers, the coaches and team manager of each team of players, which persons
have attained the age of 18 years, constitute the voting members of the Association. Each voting member shall be entitled to one (1) vote. No registered team is entitled to have more than three (3) coaches or managers vote at the Annual Meeting.
Board of Directors Members:
There are 6 directors of the Association who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting by the voting members and shall hold office for the duration of their appropriate terms.
It is the 6 Board members who APPOINT the Executive and Administrators after the meeting.

Treasurer 2 year term (opposite terms of President)
Secretary 1 year term
1st Vice President 1 year term Works with the Board of Directors
2nd Vice President 1 year term Recreation Division Convenor
3rd Vice President 1 year term Competitive Division Convenor

Umpire-in-Chief (Recreational Division)
Equipment Manager (Competitive & Recreational Divisions)
Sponsorship Manager
Publicity and Special Events Manager
Volunteer Co-Ordinator
Tournament/Clinic Manager
