2018 8U-18U Spring and Summer Season Registration

Go to new website at killeenrebels.leagueapps.com

to complete a new player tryout form or to register a returning KRB player.

Returning players:  First select "Returning to Club Team" at the top of the page and then choose the appropriate age group.  Playing age is player age on May 1, 2018.

New Players wanting to tryout:  Select "New Player Tryout Registration" at the top of the page and attend one of the tryouts scheduled Jan. 21, Feb. 4, or Feb. 18.  Tryout times are 1PM for ages 8U-10U and 2:30PM for ages 11U-14U.  Interested players will be notified of location once they submit a new player registration form.  Playing age is player age on May 1, 2018.

 

 

Notes:

-Killeen Rebels youth Director is Glenn Cunningham

-Spring teams will play approximately 7 weekend tournaments from March to Jun

-Teams will practice twice weekly

-Spring teams will consist of 11-12 players

-Killeen Rebels spring players will also be allowed to participate in the KRB summer youth training program in June and July for no additional fee.

 


 

KRB Atkisson wins 16U TSL World Series 

KRB Atkisson went 6-1 in the July 20-23 30 team tournament capping off the weekend with a 10-1 win in the championship over the Texas Colts.  It was a great weekend against some excellent teams from around the state.  Please join me in congratulating the team on a great performance.  

  

KRB Vento wins TSL Dallas Tournament 

 
 

Killeen Rebels Vento went 5-1 in the DFW Texas Showcase League tournament defeating the Stix 7-5 in the championship game.  Great first weekend and congratulations to the team.

 


 


Chris Luna Commits

 

Chris Luna recently signed to play baseball for Huston Tillotson University.  He is a 2017 graduate from Bartlett High School, were he was a four year starter for the Bulldogs.  Chris was a 2nd team all district pitcher his freshman year, and 1st team all district pitcher his Soph, Junior, and Senior year.  He  currently plays with the Killeen Rebels 18U team and has been part of the Rebels program for many years.



 
 Daniel Gibbons signs to play with West Point 
 
Congratulations to former Killeen Rebel and Harker Heights player Daniel Gibbons on his 2014 commitment to play D1 baseball at the United States Military Academy.  Daniel has excelled in the classroom and on the field.  KRB looks forward to both tracking his baseball career and his future military service.

 Copperas Cove pitcher Bryce Delano signs with Cisco

 
Congratulations to Bryce for his decision to sign a letter of intent to play with Cisco College in the fall of 2014.  Bryce was a standout 1B and pitcher this spring with the Bulldogs.  He was a staple on the mound with four district wins.  Killeen Rebels Baseball wants to congratulate Bryce and wish him the best of luck on his future career at the college level.

Tyler Miller to play at SAGU

 
Congratulations to Tyler Miller  on his 2014 commitment to play at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.  Tyler has a carrer batting average of .361 and selected to the all-district team the last two seasons at Moody High School.  Killeen Rebels Baseball would like to congratulate Tyler on a great high school career and we look forward to tracking his progress at SAGU.

Austin Greene commits to UMHB and Jhar Devilme to Coppin State 

Congratulations to Jhar Devilme on his commitment to Coppin State and to Austin on his decision to play at UMHB.  Both players had outstanding careers at Copperas Cove High School and Killeen Rebels Baseball wants to congratulate them and wish them future success in the college careers.  Great baseball accomplishment to two outstanding players.
  


Josh Cruz commits to UMHB

Congratulations to Josh on his recent commitment to play baseball for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He had a great career at Temple high school and is coming off an outstanding senior season where hitting .325 while playing 2B for the Wildcats. He was an integral part of Craig Martin's Wildcats and contributed greatly to their successful playoff run this past spring. Killeen Rebels Baseball wants to congratulate Josh and his family.  All the Rebels family wish him the best of luck in his future college baseball career.
 

 


Ryan King signs with Temple College

Congratulations to Ryan King on his decision to play his college baseball at Temple College. Ryan is a returning All-District player for the Belton Tigers and will move just a little bit east down Interstate 35 to play for Temple College next year. Ryan hit a team-high nine home runs as a junior, knocking in 34 runs. He plans to see the field at first base but has hopes of seeing time on the mound. Ryan has played with the Killeen Rebels for several years and we would like to congratulate him as well as his father Stacy and mother Dana. The Leopard's got a great baseball player and an outstanding baseball family.
 
 



BUBBA LUNA COMMITS TO UMHB
 

Bartlett senior baseball player Bubba Luna committed to play for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.   Bubba played with the Killeen Rebels 18U team. He is an outstanding player and great competitor. He played his first three high school seasons in Salado and is finishing his senior year at Bartlett. He was the District 25-2A Freshman of the Year in 2009 and earned an all-state honorable mention as a second baseman. Congratulations to Bubba and the Luna family.
