    About the Lower Allen Baseball Association

    Lower Allen Baseball is a member of the Greater West Shore Baseball League which is composed of five baseball associations: Lower Allen Baseball, Highland Athletic Association, Lemoyne Youth Baseball, West Fairview Baseball, and Wormleysburg Athletic Association.

    News and Notes

    Oct 19, 2009 Lower Allen Baseball Association meetings will be monthly on the first Sunday of the month from 7:30 to 8:30 at the Wert Field House. The next meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 1. The LABA is in need of a President and Treasurer, but even if your not interested in those positions the LABA really needs your involvement. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Brian Dubas at bdubas@aol.com.

    June 22-July 2nd, 2009 Greater West Shore Baseball 10-year old All-Star Tournament June 22 - July 3. Fee is
    $200. Five games guaranteed. Games played at Lower Allen Baseball Park. Contact Mike at mikesavastio@grofftractor.com.

    June 9, 2009 Congratulations to the following families for winning the 2009 LABA SHEETZ GAS CARD RAFFLE


    1st Prize - $300 - Skokowski
    2nd Prize - $150 - Hildebrand
    3rd Prize - $50 - Britt
    Also, congratulations to Nick Skokowski for selling the 1st prize winning ticket. Nick received a $50 Toys R Us gift card.

  • All 2009 schedules are now posted on the GWSBL site. at Click here to see schedules

    Feb. 1, 2009: Tee Ball and Pony game Changes for 2009
  • Tee Ball (6 & 7 year olds) is planned to be true Tee Ball
    where the tee is used all the time. In other words, coaches
    will not be pitching at all as was done in the past.

  • Pony (8 year olds) is planned to be hitting off of a pitching machine. At some point (around mid-season) there could be a decision
    to have players start to pitch.
