2012 Spring Season Registration Information
The new Baseball and Softball seasons are right around the corner! Online Registration is now open to all returning players or you can register in-person on several dates in January. Tryouts for the AAA Minor, Major and Junior Baseball and Softball divisions will be held Feb. 4th and 7th at Extra Innings in Vancouver. Please Click Here for a Registration Overview and Link to Secure Online Registration.
2012 Tryouts Schedule Announced
All baseball and softball players registered for the AAA Minor, Major and Junior divisions must tryout. Players who do not participate in tryouts or submit a written request to miss tryouts are not eligible for all-stars (League Rule).

Each player spends about 5 minutes individually with an adult demonstrating their ability to pitch (softball only) catch, throw, hit and run. The purpose of tryouts is to let managers see the skills of each player so the teams are generally equal in playing ability. All players who tryout are drafted to teams.

Tryouts will be held for all divisions at Extra Innings (16303 NE 15th Street, Vancouver, WA, 98684) on the following dates:

Saturday, February 4, 2012 (8:00am-12:00pm)

Tuesday, February 7, 2012 (6:00pm-9:00pm)

Please wear tennis shoes and bring a glove, if you have one. Thanks to Extra Innings for donating use of their facilities to Lacamas Little League.
Coaching Clinics In February
*Attention Managers and Coaches*

On February 11th and 13th, Lacamas Little League has two coaching clinics lined up for LLL Coaches and Managers. The first one is on Saturday February 11th, and will be held at the Camas Police Station Community Room from 11am-1pm. The speaker will be Don Lovell. Don has been involved with coaching various levels for many years. He has played every level baseball has to offer. He was an all-state baseball player in high school, an All-American in college, and an all-star in professional baseball. Don to this day holds the all-time Pac-10 highest batting average in a season as he hit .462. He still has a passion for teaching and recently was the head baseball coach at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. Don currently lives here in Camas and does a lot of great work in the community for our kids. Don will be covering an assortment of topics and the league is excited for him to share his experiences to our LLL coaches and managers.

The second clinic on Monday, February 13, will be held at the University Of Portland Chiles Center (Map) from 6:30-9pm. The speaker will be UP head baseball coach Chris Sperry. Chris has always been a huge supporter of little leagues across the Pacific Northwest and is one of the great communicators in teaching the game of baseball at all levels.

The LLL board highly encourages coaches and managers to attend these clinics. The clinics are attended to give our managers and coaches age specific drills and motivational strategies to give all LLL participants a positive outlook for the upcoming season. Please email the coaching coordinator John Blair @ john.blair@lacamasll.com so he can give the speakers an approximate head count on the number of people who will be attending.
