Coach Gasser Baseball training
Coaches and parents, Lacamas LL is proud to offer you ways to improve while coaching or just outside with your child playing baseball.
Coach Dave Gasser, the winningest (660-192) high school baseball coach in Oregon history, now has a 6 part DVD set on how to improve your practices with drills and techniques that set a solid foundation for your player.

Updated Snack Shack Schedule
The Snack Shack Schedule has been updated here for the end of year tournament in June. Teams that were scheduled to staff the Snack Shack and did not show up for their shift or were cancelled due to rain-outs are expected to assist during the tournament days.
Please take a look at the updates and make plans to have at least 3 adults available from your team for the dates your team is scheduled. As you know, in addition to serving out great burgers and awesome snow cones, the Snack Shack is one of the ways that Lacamas Little League supports the Softball and Baseball programs. Your support of this program is appreciated!
2012 Memorial Day Tournament Invitations
Lacamas Little League is excited to announce several Baseball Tournaments around the region for Memorial Day.
Columbia Little League will be holding their 8th annual Memorial Weekend Baseball Tourney.

Additionally, the 1st Annual Columbia Little League T-Ball / Pee Wee Jamboree will be held that same weekend.Entry fees for T-Ball and PeeWee teams is only $20. More info on this can be found here.
Finally, LaCenter Little League's 5th annual Memorial Day Tournament is accepting applications for teams. You can find additional information including the registration form here.

Little League International finalizes new division - with World Series!
Lacamas LL currently fields a 50-70 team, the Camas Mudcats, as part of a pilot program setup by Little League International (LLI).
This is the first new division created by LLI since 1999. Featuring a pitching distance of 50 feet and base paths of 70 feet, the newly finalized baseball division focuses on players who are league-age 11-13.
The 2013 season will include postseason tournament opportunities, including a World Series!

Little League Pledge
Opening day is Monday! We know that you are as excited as we are to get the season underway.
It's a good time to remind players of the Little League Pledge:
I trust in God
I love my country
And will respect its laws
I will play fair
And strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best
And for Parents and Volunteers, Little League International encourages you to take the Parent and Volunteer Pledge
I will teach all children to play fair and do their best.
I will positively support all managers, coaches and players.
I will respect the decisions of the umpires.
I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game.
