Lakewood Blue Bombers Fast Pitch Softball Club - (Lake Odessa, MI)

The 2010 Lakewood Blue Bombers are U12 and U14 girls fast pitch softball teams. We play in competitive leagues that really challenge the girls and provide them with a great opportunity to develop their skills. We work very closely with the High School team's utilizing many of the same practice and playing techniques. We do this to prepare the girls for high school softball by instilling in them the same disciplines and techniques that they will be exposed to in the upper grades.

We as a coaching staff are very committed to teaching the girls the fundamentals of softball and having fun. We always put these two things ahead of winning. We are, however, in a competitive league so we expect our players to be committed and positive and for the parents to be supportive. In other words we strongly believe in being a close knit team.

As a general rule we will begin our practices in April after Spring Break. We veiw practices as being very important and really stress the importance of our players participating. We use this web site as a means to post schedules and news and to make other announcements.
