Welcome to the Home Page of LAA Softball. LAA's Babe Ruth Softball offers organized softball for children ages 6 to 18 in our In-House Program. LAA Softball is a Babe Ruth Chartered Program beginning in 2008. The Chartered boundaries for this program coincide with the Middletown Township and Newtown Lines. Therefore, all residents of Middletown Township and Newtown Township are eligible to play for LAA under Babe Ruth Softball Charter.
The majority of the games are played at beautiful Middletown Community Park on Langhorne-Yardley Road. It is one of the best parks in the area with lighted fields and a snack stand that is open for all games. In the Spring our park is buzzing, and is a great place to enjoy a dog and catch a game of future softball stars!
LAA will be forming travel teams for the U10 and U12 divisions based upon interest. These teams will play other area teams that are part of Babe Ruth Softball. Look for tryouts to be around late March or early April. Check the web page for updates.
LAA IS LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL PITCHING FOR THE 16U TOURNAMENT/TRAVEL TEAM BEGINNING IN 2011. THE TEAM WILL PLAY IN TOURNAMENTS ONLY. THE TEAM IS PLANNING ON PLAYING APPROXIMATELY 10-12 TOURNAMENTS.
