The Basics
Lightning welcomes all levels of experience. If you have never played or have played for years, this is an opportunity to gain knowledge and game experience from the best coaching staff in the area. We look to have multiple teams in each age division, so you will play with and against your skill level.
Season Dates
The Ft. Lauderdale lightning will be practicing at the Pine Crest School on Mondays And Wednesdays. Practices will start around 6:30pm and last about two hours. There are a few exceptions during the season due to the Pine Crest boys and girls lacrosse schedule.
Games will be on Saturdays. The schedule has not been released at this time by the league.
Practices begin on Sunday, February 3 at 10:00am.
Age Divisions
U7 (Mighty Mites) - Born After 8/31/2005 (Kindergarten or older)
U9 (Bantam) - Born 9/1/03-8/31/05
U11 (Lighting) - Born 9/1/01-8/31/03
U13 (Junior) - Born 9/1/99-8/31/01
U15 (Senior) - Born 9/1/97-8/31/99 (no players on HIGH SCHOOL teams)
There is also a possibility of All Star teams at the Junior and Senior level, which will play extra games.
