Baseball Season Outline

MLB or College Professional Hitting Instruction (Dec-Jan)
Groups of three hitters and HS Coach's will meet with TBA once per week (Mondays) for professional hitting instruction. After each hitting lesson, we will meet twice (Wed & Fri) per week to practice and re-inforce hitting lesson instruction prior to the next professional hitting lesson. Coach's will attend lessons (take notes) to insure they understand what players need to work on and for consistency of instruction.
College Planning & Recommendations: Sep - Apr (9 months)
Any player that plans to play baseball at the college/university level should speak with Coach McCabe. Once the player decides (with Coach M input) on possible colleges, the player is responsible to provide Coach M with the a stamped envelope (for each school in the players consideration) with the school name, address, and baseball coach's name, so a recommendation letter could be mailed. Also provide college coach's phone number, so a call can be made. This responsibility is with the player. Coach M will follow-up with calls to your colleges throughout the season and provide player status. College/University contacts established thru MLB scouting association.
Pre-Season Winter Baseball Indoor Workouts: Dec - Feb (3 months)
The facility consists of 3 batting cages, 3 pitching mounds, and an infield area. We will work on our basic hitting approach; defensive plays, offensive plays, our pitching philosophy per our playbook (provide on web page). Goal--all players will have full understanding (white boards) of our game strategies(defensive plays, offensive game plans, hitting and pitching approaches).
