OUR MISSION

The mission of the Lincoln Heights Youth Association is to provide a quality athletic program that gives instruction in the fundamentals of athletics while instilling the importance of fair play, team work, perseverance and the value of education.

First Game of the Year is Saturday, September 15, 2012

*All participants MUST have a current

physical before they can start their conditioning.

Conference contracts will be provided with registration payment.

NEW PHYSICAL RULES FOR 2012-PLEASE READ!

URGENT PHYSICAL NOTICE:
In 2011 season, Conference implemented a new rule governing player physicals. Beginning last year, Conference would not accept as timely or valid any physical performed on a player that occurred before June 1, 2012. Furthermore, Conference will longer accept any physician’s form.

If you take your child to a physician for a physical, that physician must use the official player contract distributed by Conference. These will be available in JUNE of 2012. We are no longer permitted to attach any doctor's notes or forms to the player contract. These rule changes were required by Conference's insurance carrier.

The commitment to helping youths in our community is sincerely appreciated. With the donations received the LHYA will be purchasing much needed “NEW” football helmets. This is just the beginning in our efforts to acquire new equipment and uniforms. Each year LHYA continues to advance it’s mission of teaching our youth life skills, respect, tolerance and appreciation of diversity while instilling the value of education, fair play, team work and perseverance.

The goal of the Lincoln Heights Youth Association is to continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth in our communities. With the help of donations from supporters such as the neighborhood councils we will continue to see improvements in our aim for every child to have the opportunity to grow within a structured environment, designed to give sense of self pride, esteem and confidence to utilize these fundamental life tools in their future academic and social achievements.
