The U16 boys San Juan Lightning 93 White team placed third in the 2008 Clovis Challenge Cup 1st Division held on 10/25/2008 through 10/26/2008. This was a US Club Tournament hosted by California Odyssey Soccer Club.
Coached by Jairo Camargo, the team went to a shoot-out to make it into the playoffs. After succumbing to the DA Titans (they ended up being the cup champions) the team handily defeated the Turlock United team to take third place.
