LIONS FOOTBALL 2010
March 6th is coming up quickly and I hope everyone is getting excited and in shape. Success starts after the previous year ends, now its our time to shine! I am working on setting up a informational meeting on what we would like to accomplish in 2010. It is important that you make this. Im looking at the last saturday in February, the time and location will be announced soon. You may also be fitted for equipment at this meeting so bring money if you are new and/or need equipment. The Long Island Lions are a part of a full contact, fully equiped, & very physical semi-professional football league called the Regional American Football League(R.A.F.L). It is a 38 team league with organizations spanning 8 states.All participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Players do not get paid and therefore keep their college eligibility. The RAFL plays under all NFL rules.
