"Hi Joe, I went to your website this morning and was very impressed with not only the site, but the passion you have for this great game of ours! Keep up the good work; people like you are very hard to find."
Mike Epstein ---Former Major League Player of the Washington Senators Hitting Instructor
"...Took a look at your site...great information...keep up the good work."
Jeff Forney ---Arizona Diamonbacks' Strength and Conditioning Coach Author of "Complete Conditioning for Baseball"
"See the ball. This is the most functional and appropriate replacement thought a hitter will ever have in the batter's box. Remember it; use it; value it."
H.A. Dorfman, ---Sports Psychologist to Major League Baseball Author of: "The Mental Keys to Hitting", The Mental Game of Baseball", "The Mental ABC's of Pitching"
--"See the ball: hit the ball" are the words of the great Pete Rose.
"It's just you and the ball. Remember the difference between a good hitter (.300) and a mediocre hitter (.250) is just one more hit in every 20 at bats...a 5% improvement! So keep in mind the phrase 'see the ball; hit the ball' or as I like to tell our youngsters 'track the ball; whack the ball.'"
--Coach Joe Hernandez
See the ball before you stride; Make sure it's not in or outside. If it happens to be low Hold your bat and let it go. But if it happens to be any place around Take a good swing and hit it downtown.
---Walt Williams
Without a doubt, the biggest problem affecting the performance of young ballplayers, especially in the area of hitting, is "THINKING TOO MUCH!"
Will Clark said, "You cannot think while trying to hit the ball." Yogi Berra said, "You can't think and hit at the same time."
The message is clear...The only thing that matters when you are at the plate is the ball. In order for you to "see the ball" and "hit the ball" you need to be in the batter's box in a relax state, focusing on just the ball and make sure you are NOT THINKING!
