BOYS OF SUMMER 2010 SUMMER REGISTRATION MEETING
February 3, 2010 - 10:00 AM
THE BOYS OF SUMMER WILL HOLD ITS SECOND REGISTRATION MEETING FOR THE SUMMER OF 2010 AT THE PAL COMPLEX ON FURROWS ROAD IN HOLTSVILLE ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH AT 7:30 P.M. THE MEETING IS FOR ALL TEAMS INTERESTED IN PLAYING IN OUR 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U AND COLLEGE SUMMER DIVISIONS. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE ARE AFFILIATED WITH THE LONG ISLAND STAN MUSIAL LEAGUE AND THE FABL FOR THE REGIONAL AND NATIONAL BIDS TO THE AABC, NABF, PONY AND BABE RUTH NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS. WE ARE ALSO HOSTING ONE OF THE NATIONAL REGIONALS.
THERE IS A $500 REGISTRATION DEPOSIT REQUIRED AT THIS MEETING SO WE CAN GET STARTED ON CLOSING OUT OUR AGE GROUPS. WE ARE GOING BACK TO RUNNING THE ALL-STAR GAMES IN EVERY AGE GROUP, THE SKILLS COMPETITIONS IN EVERY AGE GROUP, UP TO DATE STATS ON OUR WEBSITE, ROSTERS ON OUR WEBSITE, AND DOUBLE ELIMINATION PLAYOFFS. THERE IS A 27-GAME SEASON, A COORDINATOR IN EVERY AGE GROUP AND WE ARE USING THE ECUA UMPIRES. WE ARE LOOKING TO RUN 12 TO 16 TEAM DIVISIONS FOR EACH AGE GROUP. TO ELIMINATE ANY CONFUSION, THE BOS AND THE FABL ARE RUNNING SEPARATE LEAGUES IN 2010. THE LEAGUE COORDINATORS WILL WORK TOGETHER WITH THE NATIONAL AFFILIATIONS AND BIDS.
