The Titans faced the Enforcers in the 2010 LIFFL Fall Super Bowl. The Titans wanting to show the Enforcers who the REAL greatest team of all time is would start strong and score often on there way to winning 33-22. The Titans would score 5 touchdowns. 3 by Carl Morris, 1 by Josh Corbin and 1 by Mike Miller. The Titans at half would have a 21-8 lead and cruise to the victory. As Coach Cellini would say, "Nine is fine!"
All questions answered.
Superbowl Sunday in the LIFFL, and the Titans as usual would be in the big game. This season they would face the defending 9 man division champs the LI Clippers. The Clippers opened the game strong as D-end Jay Magee would make a spectacular swat and interception on the Titans first play from scrimmage. One play later the Clippers would take an early 7-0 lead, as Qb Henry Ford would throw a strike into the endzone, and turn to the Titan sideline while proclaiming that was only the first td of many to come. Qb Chris Depalma would answer back as he marched the Titans down the field completing specatular passes to WR Mike Miller and Ryan Heller, capping an 80 yard drive with a TD catch to TE Steve Competillo. The Titan defense would now begin to force its will upon the Clipper offense, as they would pester and harrass Henry forcing a punt on the Clippers next series. Punt Returner Tate Miller would then show the league that he is still the fastest man around as he took the punt and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown. The Clippers however showed why they were the reigning 9 man champs as QB. Henry Ford orchestrated the two minute drill to perfection marching the Clippers for the tying score just before halftime. The second half would become the defensive struggle many had predicted the game to be as both defenses would force a couple of punts. The Titans Defense would should why they are the best in the league when they would stop the Clipper offense on 3rd and 4th down.., giving the offense the ball at midfield. It would not take long for the Titans to capitlize, as a TE Comp took a screen pass 25 yards, and on the very next play the Titans would score as QB Chris DePalma found a wide open Brian Tornee, who would walk into the endzone for the go ahead score. On the next ensuing drive the most interesting man in the league Anthony Zito decided it was his turn to takeover the game. He would record two sacks on that drive alone as well as just missing an interception. The Clippers would be forced to punt the ball with under 4 minutes remaining in the game. The Titans would take another two plus minutes off the clock, marching down to the 5 yard line. However a costly mistake would prevent the Titans from icing the game right there, as they would not be able to get the game clinching feild goal off, turning the ball over to the Clippers. After a few mental errors, the Titan defense would hold giving the Titans there 8th league championship. Coach Chris Cellini who guranteed a title at the start of the season, put to rest any questions as to who is the best team in the league history. The Titans will start there title defense at the Stillwell Tournment and the then will GET IN LINE TO GET NUMBER 9 this fall season. MVP honors on Defense go to Anthony Zito, Offensive MVP the entire Oline who kept QB Chris DePalma clean all day.
