Who: Boys & Girls ages 5-18 who are able to swim one length

Cost: $75.00 – first swimmer; $60.00 – second swimmer; $55.00 – third swimmer; $50.00 – fourth swimmer

Summer Swim Season Details

· Home Pool – Lower Macungie Township Pool (must be a member)

· Season Starts – May 28^th

· Meets Start – June 18^th – Mondays/Thursdays

· Champs Meet – July 21st^th (Sunday - season ends)   

The Season begins after Memorial Day and runs through the end of July. We swim in the Suburban Swim League. Our swimmers are ages 5-18 with varying levels of experience; some are barely able to finish a 25 yard swim (our minimum requirement) and others are extremely committed swimmers that swim year around and may be on a high school team. Regardless of ability, we provide a fun and supportive environment to teach Lower Macungie children how to swim competitive strokes. Our practices and meets are held at the Lower Macungie Township Pool & at other Suburban Swim league pools (4 away meets/year).

Dear Lazer Families,

We look forward to a new year.  We have some changes that are occurring this year.  We have been very fortunate to have Suzanne DeJohn and Kris Petre run the team for as long as I can remember, however it is time that they can enjoy watching their kids swim.  During the parent meeting that occurred April 18th it was decided to eliminate the team and parent representatives this year and have a board instead.  That being said, I would like to welcome the inaugural board and coordinators and thank you for your patience as we begin this new chapter in the Lazer history.

This year Speedo was unable to offer us a red and blue suit so our suits will be green and blue.  You may purchase your suit at A&H Sporting Goods on Emmaus Ave (across the street from Giant).

Volunteer Signups

Each year parents are asked to provide a $50 volunteer check that will be held until each family’s volunteer and food donation commitment has been fulfilled. The checks will be returned once your volunteer commitment has been completed or cashed if you are unable to fulfill the commitment.

Please use SignUp Genius to sign up for 4 volunteer spots throughout the season.  In addition, please choose a food item for EACH home meet or pay $5 toward the snack bar.
