2012 FALL BASEBALL SEASON -- REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Lombard Baseball League will hosting another season of fall baseball. The purpose of the fall league is to allow players the chance to compete with players their same age whuile developing their skill for the next year. There are three age leves:
9U -- 8 & 9 Year Olds
11U -- 10 & 11 Year Olds
13U -- 12 & 13 Year Olds
Games will begin on August 10th and end around September 23rd. No games on Labor Day Weekend. Each team will play ten games plus all teams qualify for the end of Fall Season tournament.
Player Fee $115.00 ($100.00 if you register by May 31st)

2012 LOMBARD BASEBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN FOR SENIORS AGES 15 thru 19
The two ways to still register for the upcoming 2012 seasons are via On-line or Mail-in Registration. For On-line Registration (credit card required), please use the following link:
For Mail-in Registration, please download, print and complete the proper form based upon you child's age. Once ready for mailing, please address your envelope with proper postage to: LBL, C/O Registration, PO Box #1174, Lombard, IL 60148.

Player age determination date for the LBL In-House program is based upon your child's birth date. The cut-off date is August 31st. For example if your child was born on June 17, 2004. Your child would be a league age 8 years old for the 2012 season. If your player (child) is new to LBL, please include a copy of their birth certificate for age validation.

2012 SCHEDULES FOR JUNIOR A, AA and AAA; REGULAR A, AA, AAA, and MAJOR
Schedules for the Junior, Regular, and Senior AA Division have been posted for the 2012 season. Please click on "Schedules" on the left hand side menu bar and this will direct you to all of the schedules.
LBL will be hosting it's annual Summer Classic Tournaments this summer for age levels 8U thru 14U for In-House All-Star teams. Please click on the below link for registration form and dates. The Chicago White Sox Academy will be conducting summer camp for ages 5 through 11 at the Lombard Commons Park in Lombard. We want to provide the Lombard Baseball League with a special discount to attend this camp! All your athletes would have to do is use the special code listed on the attached flyer when registering for the camp.
STANDINGS AND SCORE REPORTING -- All Managers should contact their Level Commissioner to report scores (winning Manager responsibility) after each game to ensure that the standings sections can be updated at the end of each week. Also, all Managers at Regular A and Regular AA of the winning team should sign the Umpire's card at the end of each game.
RAIN-OUTS & FIELD CONDITIONS --- Its the responsibility of the team Managers to inspect and review field conditions during inclement weather to determine if the field is playable. All Managers should notify their teams ASAP along with their Level Commissioner and Umpire-In-Chief if a game is canceled due to weather and field conditions. Please do not use the Lombard Park District Hotline for game day notifications and cancellations.
Once a game begins and weather conditions change, its the responsibility of the assigned Umpire to postpone play. If lightning or thunder is present, all games must stop immediately and can not resume until there has been no sign of lightning or thunder for twenty minutes.
All games that are canceled or postponed due to weather will be rescheduled. Managers should work with their Level Commissioner to reschedule all games within 48 hours.
