About Lourdes Athletics

As the Our Lady of Lourdes family continues to grow, we have decided to expand our Adult Athletics ministry to serve you better. We organize several co-ed adult (18+) teams to play in 7 sports leagues operated by Atlanta Catholic Sports (ACS), the Archdiocese-wide, volunteer-run, adult sports program. ACS is expanding and would love to have (more) OLL teams enter the leagues.
I have met several people from Our Lady of Lourdes and other parishes by playing in the ACS leagues. More than 2,000 Catholics participate - and the leagues have competitive, intermediate and recreational divisions to match each person's skill level. So far, Lourdes Athletics has sponsored teams in basketball, volleyball and softball (I played flag football too).
Lourdes Athletics wants to get more parishioners involved in ACS leagues and have a great time playing together. Contact us NOW if you want to play on or captain a team in one of the upcoming leagues.

Register NOW for Volleyball; League Starts March 7

Lourdes Adult Athletics is now organizing coed teams to play indoor volleyball in the Atlanta Catholic Sports (ACS) sponsored league. League play begins Wednesday, March 7 with game times of 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45 PM.
If you're interested in meeting more parishioners, both from Our Lady of Lourdes and around the Archdiocese, contact Kevin Rogers now at kar0755@comcast.net to join a team, become a team captain, or get more information. If we act quickly, we could enter more than 1 team.
All games will be played at Mercer University off Chamble-Tucker Road, near "Spaghetti Junction". The season runs through May 16 with all games on Wednesday evenings. There's room for you at all skill levels. Just sign up and join the fun!

Lourdes Basketball Teams Gettin' It Done

After two weeks of league play, both Lourdes #1 and Lourdes #2 coed, adult basketball teams are 2-0. Lourdes #1 plays in the Competitive division, while #2 plays in the Intermediate division of the Atlanta Catholic Sports (ACS) sponsored league.
League play started on Sunday, Jan 16 with all games played in Buckhead at the Atlanta International School. Lourdes #1 started in the ACS league in 2006, and this is the inaugural year for #2. Come watch our parishioners "get it done" on the courts each Sunday through May! To sign up as a substitute, contact Kevin Rogers now at kar0755@comcast.net.

Lourdes Athletics is looking to form at least 2 teams into the Atlanta Catholic Sports (ACS) summer coed, softball league. League plays starts on Sunday, June 3 in Marietta, from morning to mid afternoon.
