Congratulations to all wrestlers. We finished the season well. We gave out several awards at our banquet. Awards included:

UPDATED EVENT INFO!!
We will have our Awards Banquet on SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2009 at RAIN in Malden from 1:00pm-12:00pm. This is right near Town Line. Please contact a coach if you are unsure where this is, or need directions.
We will give out awards to team members and celebrate our successful season. Certificates will be given out to all team members.
Please make sure to tell anyone on the team who may not check the website very often. Coaches will try to contact all team members that we have phone numbers for. Make sure you spread the word and let all other Malden Youth Wrestlers know.

Carver Tournament Pictures Posted

We had a good day down at the Carver Tournament, with 2 Gold medals, and 2 Silver medals. Great work team.
Pictures from the tournament are posted, check them out and find some of your matches.
Also, check out the Bulletin Board link on the left side of the page for final scores from last weekend's Big East Finals. Malden did very well, great job guys.
We will not have practice this week because of February break.

UPDATE: Tournament @ Carver High School in Carver, MA on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Registration begins at 7:00am. We will leave Malden High by 6:30am.

The Big East Finals Tournament is THIS Sunday @ Malden High. Wrestlers, please arrive at the high school @ 7:00am to warm up and get ready. The tournament will start at 7:45am. Don't forget to wear your Malden wrestling t-shirt.
There will be a full concession stand open all day, thanks to some great parent volunteers. For any parents, guardians or friends coming to watch, admission will be $3.00 for anyone over age 12. Get there as early as you can, parking will be difficult with the big amount of wrestlers and spectators.

Volunteers needed for Big East Tournament, next Sunday, February 8

Attention all parents and guardians and friends of the team:
We still need some volunteers to help run the front door, wrestling tables and concession stand during the Big East Tournament on Sunday, February 8. You would be helping by selling admission tickets, registration or selling food & drinks.
The tournament is at Malden High. Registration will begin at 7:00am and the tournament will run to approximately 2:30pm. Please let one of the coaches know if you are available to help out for any amount of time. You can also sign the website Guestbook to let us know if you would like to volunteer to help at this event. Any amount of time you can donate is greatly appreciated.
If you cannot volunteer to help out at the event, you can still help by making some sandwiches, cookies, or brownies that we can sell at the event. Any food you would like to prepare and donate must be individually wrapped and peanut-free. This can be brought in at the start of the tournament.
