THE LEGACY CONTINUES...MUSTANGS RECEIVE TOP HONORS IN COLLEGE STATION!!!
The Manor High School Varsity Cheerleaders received top honors at the 2008 University Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Summer Camp held from August 11-14 at Texas A&M University in College Station. This camp was one of the largest in the state, with more than 30 squads in attendance.
At their camp in College Station, the Manor High School Varsity Cheerleaders received the following commendations:
Blue Superior Ribbon for Sideline Routine
Blue Superior Ribbon for Camp Cheer Routine
Blue Superior Ribbon for Xtreme Routine
The squad also competed in the camp championship evaluations and received the following awards:
The 1st Place trophy for the Varsity Home Choreographed Dance Routine qualifies the squad to perform at the 2008 Capital One Bowl in at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The Mustangs have earned this honor three years in a row!
In addition to squad awards, two MHS cheerleaders were awarded All-Star medals for superior cheer and dance performance. Captain Samantha G. and Co-Captain Tonie J. were named to the Varsity All-Star Squad which will be performing at the New Year’s Parade in London, England. This is the third year in a row Samantha has received this honor.
