    MARK RICKER - PRO FOOTBALL RESUME
    Mark Ricker has a wide range of professional football experience as a player, coach and general manager.


    Mark was an All City linebacker and two time state finalist wrestler at Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, TX. He played in the East vs West All Star game as a senior. A Fresno State graduate, he participated in both football and wrestling at the collegiate level.



    Mark played professional arena football for the Waco Marshals of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL). As a linebacker and special teams player, he helped contribute to the Marshals inaugural season in the NIFL’s Atlantic South Division. He had a training camp tryout with the Dallas Desporados of the Arena Football League (AFL), but was not signed.



    He would earn two championship rings as the General Manager for the Austin Rattlers of the minor pro North American Football League. The Rattlers would win back to back NAFL Championships, while he served as the teams GM.



    Mark was then hired to be the Director of Football Operations for the San Antonio Matadors of the professional Spring Football League (SFL). Although he SFL was a short lived professional football league, the Matadors had the privilege of playing in the last professional football game ever at the Miami Orange Bowl, defeating the Miami Tropics 16-13.



    After the SFL, he was hired to be the Head Coach and General Manager for the San Antonio Steers of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL). He helped guide the Steers to a second place finish in the NIFL’s Pacific South Division.
