14U (7/8 grade) 4:00 to 4:45pm

12U (5/6 grade) 4:45 to 5:30pm

10U (3/4 grade) 5:30 to 6:15pm

8U (1/2 grade).  6:15 to 7:00pm

Concussion baseline testing

 

Dear Parents,
 

Marlton Girls Lacrosse has partnered with the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center and Rothman Institute to provide your athlete with concussion baseline testing.

The following date is reserved for our athletes:

Monday, February 13th (4:30-7:30)

Location:  Rothman Institute at Marlton, 4th Floor, 999 NJ-73, Marlton, NJ 08053 (Across from Whole Foods)

 

To schedule your athlete:

Please call 267.463.2300 (choose prompt #2) to reserve a time slot.

  • Time slots are available every 15 minutes.
  • Testing time ranges from 30 minutes to 70 minutes depending on your package.
  • Please indicate if your athlete will be taking an ImPACT test only, or a comprehensive baseline test.  Slots are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Cost:

 

$15 - ImPACT Test

$40 - Comprehensive Package

 

Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card at the time of the appointment.

 

What to bring:

Please download paperwork from the links below and complete prior to your appointment, or arrive 20 minutes early.

Baseline testing includes:

  • Visual & Verbal Memory
  • Processing Speed
  • Reaction Time
  • Balance testing (package only)
  • Reading speed (package only)

Please plan for 1 hour for check-in and testing.

Some question have come in about the new women's headgear, so I wanted to send out some information. 
 
 This is NOT required, it is optional, but if a player chooses to wear the head gear the link below gives information on what standards it must meet and a general FAQ to answer any questions.
 
 
US Lacrosse also updated the approved eyewear in August, below is a link to that list.  I don't think it will affect many, but just good to note.  It appears that all of the goggles that have come with the starter kits young girls buy are on the list so that's good!
