Division/Age
The Roller Hockey Season typically runs from early April through late May. There are usually 2 games and 1 practice per week. Player evaluations will be held in late March in order to establish balanced teams throughout each division. The age breakdown for each division is below but is subject to change based on final registration numbers. Please email us with any questions. MITES (6-8) - 6, 7, or 8 years old or as of 12/31/12 SQUIRTS (9-11) - 9, 10 or 11 years old as of 12/31/12 BANTAM (12-13) - 12 or 13 years old as of 12/31/12 CADET (14-18) 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 years old as of 12/31/12
Please note 9 year olds have been moved to the Squirt Division

Coaches please be aware that this year you must have a valid coaches card, background check and concussion training. If you are not signed up to be a coach please email us and we will add you to the list. Please note your phone number as well as division you wish to coach.
Required Equipment
Equipment: All Equipment Regulations can be found starting on page 23 of the USA Hockey Inline Rule Book. Some specifics we’ll cover are:
Sticks: Can be made of wood, carbon composite, graphite, aluminum or rubber composite material approved by USA Hockey Inline. Hollow end of stick MUST be FULLY covered.
Skates: All skates must be designed for inline hockey with a maximum of 5 wheels. All axle openings must contain an axle and a wheel. Example: A 4 wheel frame must contain 4 axles and 4 wheels at all times.
Helmets: Must be HECC Certified and must have a full cage or full clear shield. Half shields are not permitted in any age group.
Gloves: All players must wear protective gloves designed for inline hockey. Mylec Street Hockey Gloves do not qualify under USA Hockey Inline nor MRC Roller Hockey rules and are therefore prohibited.
Elbows: All players are required to wear elbow pads designed for inline hockey. Elbow pads must be fully covered by jersey when worn.
Shins: All players are required to wear full shin guards designed for inline hockey. Shin pads must be fully covered by pants when worn.
Miscellaneous: All players are required to wear a mouth guard (cannot be clear) as well as a protective sports cup
Goalies: All goalkeepers must wear chest protection, a blocker glove, catching glove, leg guards, and a HECC Certified helmet, all designed for hockey goalkeepers, to be permitted goalkeeper privileges. Goalies are also required to wear inline skates, following the same conditions as a player’s skate.
All Players MUST wear long pants or roller hockey pants. NO SHORTS!
All Players / Goalies Must Wear A Mouth Guard.
All Male Players Must Wear A Protective Cup.
