Come and join the McDonough Youth football family. MYA is a family oriented association that offers two levels of football, Division I and Division II.
Our Division I teams are the Cougars. The Cougars are a select team of more experienced players playing in the Southern Competitive Football League. Our Division II teams are NCAA (GA, FL, ALA, all SEC teams) themed playing in the Henry County Youth Football League. This league offers our kids an opportunity to develop their skills at a pace which is not as demanding as Division I.
In recent years there has been a decline in football participation across the nation for various reasons. We want to reassure our parents that we are doing the very best with regards to safety and instructions. Each new coach will go through an orientation, as well as, obtain a certification with USA Football Coaches Association.
We’re extremely excited and look forward to a great 2014 spring and fall football seasons!!
