UW Stout High School Prospect Camp
February 2, 2013 – 10:00 AM

High School Prospect Camp

The High School Prospect Camp will allow for each player to show off their skills to the College Coaching Staff. As it is not always easy for the staff to get out and watch everybody in the spring, summer and fall this will allow each player ample time to show the staff their skills. The prospect camp is open to any high school player from anywhere. The camp will consist of skills testing such as arm strength, foot speed, pop times and pitching velocity. Each player will also have the opportunity to show their fielding ability and offensive skills. Some instruction will be included throughout the camp as well. During the camp players will get an insight to how we run our practices and program. If time allows their will also be a brief question and answer session with both parents and players on the recruit- ing process and what coaches are looking for. Within a week of the end of the camp each player will receive a written assessment, including their skills testing numbers which they can share with other college coaches.
