Todays games have been cancelled and rescheduled for Friday April 20th.
Varsity will play at 695 Bay Road Game time is 4:30pm
JV will play behind Dewitt Road Elementary School 722 Dewitt Road. Game time will be at 4:30pm.

JV Game vs. LeRoy is postponed - Varsity still on
The JV game scheduled for Tuesday April 10th is postponed due to LeRoy's field being unplayable. The Varsity home game vs LeRoy is still scheduled to be played.
Livonia Scrimmages for Thursday March 29th are Cancelled
Both the JV and Varsity scrimmages against Livonia are cancelled due to the weather. Practice times will be announced by end of day today.
Modified Practices Monday March 12
Modified practices begin Monday March 12 from 3pm to 4pm.
Tryout Schedule and Selected Players Team Meeting Thursday 7pm
Tryouts are Monday March 5th - Wednesday March 7th from 7pm to 8:45pm. Team Selections will be made immediately following Wednesday's final day of tryouts. Please note for all players selected for the JV and Varsity teams we will be have a Parent/Player meeting following Thursday's Practice at 7pm in the Mercy Cafeteria. This will be a mandatory meeting and we require at least one parent per player to attend as we will be going over the Spring Trip and other critical matters dealing with the start of the season.

Tabitha McBride Named New Mercy JV Head Coach
On behalf of the Mercy Softball Program I am pleased to announce the hiring of Tabitha McBride as our new JV Head Coach. Coach McBride brings with her extensive playing experience at the travel and collegiate level. She started her college career at Monroe Community College where she earned NFCA Academic All-American Honors, First Team All-Region, Regional MVP and named to the All-Tournament Team at Nationals. She went on to continue her playing career at SUNY Brockport where she majored in Physical Education. The addition of Tabitha McBride to the Coaching Staff is just another positive step in building the Mercy Softball Program into one of the best in the area. Please join me in welcoming Coach McBride to the Mercy family.
2018 Alumnae Softball Game
On Saturday May 5th in conjunction with the 7th Annual Strikeout Cancer Game we will be having an Alumni Softball Game. All former JV and Varsity Softball Players are invited and encouraged to come back and play in this fun event. The schedule for the day will be:

Open Gyms and Strength Training Sessions are on the Calendar
Open Gyms and Strength Training has been added to the general calendar. The next open gym is Thursday September 21 from 3 to 4:30pm on the softball field all Mercy Students are welcome to attend. Strength training will be immediately following from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the fitness center. Please check back frequently for all updates to the calendar.
Mercy Defeats Pittsford Sutherland in Crossover Game Advance to Regionals
Mercy avenged their regular season loss to Pittsford Sutherland by defeating them 15-2 in tonight's Section V Crossover game. The Monarchs started where they left off in the Sectional Championship game by scoring 7 runs in the first inning and went on to a 15-2 victory. Mercy finished the night with 19 hits to match their hit total from Saturday's Championship game vs Pittsford Mendon. With their victory, Mercy advances to regionals where they will face Williamsville East on Friday June 2nd, at 3:30pm at Brockport College. The winner advances to the NYS Final Four on Saturday June 10th.
MERCY 2017 SECTION V CLASS A1 CHAMPIONS
Mercy put on a tremendous display of hitting and defeated Pittsford Mendon 19-9 to take the Class A1 Sectional Championship. Congratulations to the Mercy players and the entire Mercy Softball Community for such a great win.
Congratulations to Senior Ellie Schlehr for being named Sectional Tournament MVP. Other Mercy players named to the all tournament team: Senior Olivia Ortega, Junior Nicole Bell, Junior Danielle Salina, and Sophomore Kate Vara.
Up next for the Monarchs is the State Qualifying crossover game vs. Pittsford Sutherland on Tuesday 6pm at Brockport College.
Mercy Reaches the Sectional Class A1 Finals with win over Spencerport
Mercy defeated Spencerport 8-4 tonight to advance to the Sectional Class A1 Finals. The final is set for Saturday May 27 at 1pm at Brockport College and they will face the winner of Pittsford Mendon vs Canandaigua.
Mercy was led at the plate by Sophmore Kate Vara who went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored, Senior Gabrielle Schlehr 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and Junior Danielle Salina 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.
Mercy hopes to bring home their first sectional title since 2013.
Mercy outlasts Irondequoit 8-5 to advance to the Sectional Semi-finals
It took 8 innings but Mercy defeated Irondequoit 8-5 to advance to the Sectional Semi-Finals where they will meet Spencerport. The game will be played on Thursday May 25, at 6pm at Brockport College
Sectional Quarterfinals Tuesday May 23 vs Irondequoit
On Tuesday May 23rd Mercy travels to Irondequoit for a sectional quarterfinal match up. Game time is 4:30pm.
